Proverbs 31:28
January 28, 2012 • By Pastor Wendy Williams
28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her. (KJV)
The virtuous woman is BLESSED. Her husband and her children appreciate her love, care, diligence, faithfulness, productivity, and wisdom. They can never deny that they are blessed, because she has truly blessed them. Therefore, they "rise up" and call her blessed. God has blessed her to be a blessing. She was blessed by God before anyone ever called her blessed, but when her family recognizes her, appreciates her, and calls her blessed, it blesses her even more.
Her children and her husband "rise up" and call her blessed. As her children "rise up" in age, stature and maturity, they will recognize the gift of the virtuous mother in their midst. As they grow and mature, their understanding will develop, and they will realize how blessed they are to have the virtuous woman as their mother. Her husband will also "rise up" with the understanding. And he will "rise up" early in the morning and call her blessed and praise her before the Lord. He will praise her with his words, and he will praise her with his works. Her whole household goes out of its way to appreciate her. And, the virtuous woman accepts all of their blessings and praises with humility.
The Bible says: "The blessing of the Lord, it maketh rich, and He addeth no sorrow with it." (Pr 10:22). To be "blessed" means to be "anointed to prosper." The virtuous woman will enjoy her blessing and her prosperity without any sorrow. The Lord's blessing, when complete, will bring prosperity and total peace with her children and with her husband. Everything she puts her hands to, will prosper. Her household is blessed, and they all dwell together in peace. (Repeat the GEM FOR TODAY throughout the day)
GEM FOR TODAY: Father, I thank You that Your blessing makes me rich without sorrow. I am blessed spiritually, mentally, physically, and financially. I am blessed to be a blessing. Everything I put my hands to, always prospers. (Men say) I AM A MAN OF VALOR, AND I VALUE GOD'S PRICELESS WOMAN!!! (Women say) I AM GOD'S PRICELESS WOMAN!!! In Jesus' Name, Amen
